Skechers Children's Shoes Deformed

As a gift, I received a pair of Skechers children's shoes. We didn't use them right away because they were too big for my child. We used them for about two months before the lights on one of the shoes stopped working. The shoes developed surface flaws as well. Remember, these shoes were only worn for 2-3 hours per day while my child was at preschool. And different shoes were worn inside the preschool on weekends. We sent the shoes in for inspection, and the following response was received: "Dear customer, no manufacturing defect was found upon examination of your product with the request number 1-274329." If you have sent the product for inspection at one of our stores, please pick it up within 30 days." This has been a bad experience with Skechers children's shoes!
