I purchased a pair of men's shoes from Skechers, and after only 2 months, both shoes started splitting along the same patterned area. It’s clearly a structural issue, but when I contacted the store to request a return or exchange, I was met with rejection.
Their official response was: “Following inspection, the issue you reported is not considered to be a manufacturing defect.” This is incredibly frustrating. Either they never actually examined the shoes, or they simply refuse to take responsibility for the quality of their products.
Had I bought a no-name, lower-quality shoe, I probably could’ve worn it for 2–3 years. I expected more from a global brand like Skechers. To anyone considering buying Skechers—think twice. I feel let down, and I won’t be purchasing from this brand again unless they make this right.
