I bought a pair of Skechers shoes from the store in November. At the time of purchase, I was told the product was under warranty and that I could bring it in if I experienced any issues. It was a high-priced, stylish pair—so I trusted the brand and paid accordingly.
Five months into wearing them, the stitching started coming apart and the shoe tore along the side. I reported the issue through the official website and even included photos, but my claim was rejected with the explanation that it wasn’t a manufacturing defect. That makes no sense—if the stitching and side tore in just five months, it clearly points to a flaw in that specific area. The other shoe is perfectly fine, so why is only one falling apart?
A shoe with a supposed two-year warranty shouldn’t become unwearable in under half a year. If I had known the quality would be this poor, I would have bought a cheaper shoe and at least expected it to last a year.
I’m requesting either a replacement (even in a different color) or a full refund. I trusted Skechers for quality and durability, and I’m deeply disappointed that the brand is not standing behind its product. Please resolve this issue and show that Skechers values its customers.
