On April 15, 2025, I purchased the Skechers Hi-Ryze New Lite model shoes from the Skechers store located in Marmara Forum, Bakırköy (Istanbul). Over the course of four months, I wore them no more than ten times, and since I work as a public employee, I didn’t even wear them for long hours during the day. Despite that, after four months, the inner lining of the shoes tore.

I sent the product for inspection along with the invoice and provided a detailed explanation of the issue. However, my claim was rejected with the statement that it was “user error.” It is completely unacceptable for the inner lining of shoes to tear in such a short period of time and with so little use. Even though the product is under a two-year warranty, no responsibility was taken.

I do not wish to consider an exchange option because I’m concerned the same issue will happen again. Therefore, my expectation from Skechers is a full refund for the product.
