I Paid Extra at Sheraton Ataköy and Still Haven’t Received My Refund
We stayed at the Sheraton Istanbul Ataköy Hotel for 2 nights starting January 17. Upon check-out, we were suddenly asked to pay an extra ₺8,000, even though this charge was never mentioned anywhere during booking or check-in. We were assured this amount would be refunded immediately after check-out.
However, it’s been over two weeks, and I still haven’t received any refund. Despite multiple calls to the hotel and repeated follow-ups, we are still fighting to get our money back. This is not only unprofessional, it’s deeply frustrating. We paid in full for our stay — this extra charge and delay are unacceptable.
