I Can’t Cancel My Sheraton Ataköy Booking Made via Stayforlong Through Trivago

I booked a stay at the Sheraton Ataköy Hotel for February 21–22, 2025, but due to severe weather, my scheduled meeting was cancelled. Naturally, I wanted to cancel my hotel reservation as well. I had made the booking through Trivago, which redirected me to a third-party site called Stayforlong.

Unfortunately, I’ve been completely unable to reach Stayforlong through any method. I called the Sheraton hotel directly, and they confirmed my reservation exists in their system. However, they said they couldn’t cancel it themselves and that I had to contact Stayforlong.

Despite explaining that I can't reach anyone at Stayforlong, Sheraton still insists I resolve it with them. I even asked for direct contact information for Stayforlong, but was told none is available. This is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional on both ends.

I am asking Sheraton Ataköy to assist in resolving this issue or at least help escalate it to someone who can. I should not be left helpless due to a third-party system failure, especially when the booking is clearly visible in the hotel’s system.
