My Album Was Removed Without My Consent Or Any Explanation

I am an independent human artist and I distributed my album “Karakefen – Kayıp Kaset (2003–2018)” through DistroKid. I want to emphasize that I am a real human artist, not an AI-generated or virtual artist, and this album represents many years of personal work and creative effort. On 2 October 2026, this album suddenly disappeared from Spotify and YouTube Music, and the release also disappeared from my DistroKid account. I did not request or authorize this removal and I received no prior warning, notification or explanation from DistroKid or the platforms. After noticing the disappearance, I contacted both Spotify and DistroKid support to understand what happened. DistroKid support informed me that my case would be forwarded to the appropriate team, but since then I have not received any clear explanation, concrete information or resolution. I have not been informed of any copyright complaint, policy violation or other issue that could justify the complete removal of my release from both the stores and my DistroKid account. I expect DistroKid to clearly explain why my album was removed, who initiated this removal, and whether it is related to a copyright claim, a policy decision, a technical error or any other specific reason. I also request that DistroKid provide me with the original UPC and ISRC information associated with this release. My primary expectation is that DistroKid restores the original release to Spotify and YouTube Music as soon as possible, preserving its streaming history, metadata and existing artist profile connections. If, for any reason, the original release cannot be restored in this way, I expect a clear written explanation and a concrete alternative solution. Independent artists rely on distributors to handle their music responsibly and to communicate transparently when any problem arises. The removal of my album without notification and without a clear explanation is extremely distressing and unacceptable. I ask DistroKid to urgently investigate this situation and provide me with a detailed written response and prompt resolution.
