I Face Refund Refusal After Early Checkout at Hilton DoubleTree Kuşadası
Between September 2 and September 5, 2025, I made a reservation for a 3-night stay at the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel in Kuşadası. I booked through my Hilton Honors account and paid ₺10,000 in cash at the reception by transferring it to the hotel’s IBAN account. I covered the remaining amount with my Hilton Honors points.
However, I was only able to stay for one night and had to check out early. When I informed the reception that I wanted a refund, I clearly stated that I was not asking for my points back—only for the ₺10,000 cash payment to be refunded. Despite this, the hotel staff firmly refused my request, saying, “There is no such procedure.” At no point during the reservation or check-in process was I informed that refunds were not possible.
Additionally, even though I reserved a King Deluxe room, I was given a standard room instead. I realized this mistake near the end of my stay, so I couldn’t raise a complaint at that time.
Since I only stayed for one night, I am requesting a refund of the ₺10,000 cash payment I made. I am not asking for my Hilton Honors points to be refunded. I kindly ask Hilton to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve this unfair situation.
