Sheraton Levent Still Hasn’t Released My Credit Card Hold After 15 Days
I stayed at the Sheraton Levent Istanbul Hotel from December 21–22 for one night. During check-in, a security deposit (authorization hold) was placed on my credit card, which is standard. However, it's now been 15 days, and the hold still hasn’t been released.
I’ve called the hotel three times, and each time I was told it would be handled, yet nothing has changed. This delay is unacceptable. My funds are still blocked, and I can’t use that amount, even though I’ve checked out and everything was in order.
Sheraton, I’m shocked at this level of irresponsibility and lack of professionalism. I didn’t expect such poor follow-up from a globally recognized brand. I demand that the credit card authorization hold be lifted immediately. If this isn’t resolved promptly, I’ll continue sharing my experience across all platforms. People deserve to know what kind of service they’re walking into.
