Shell Smart Card Fiasco: Missing Points Despite Fuel Purchase

I recently signed up for the Shell Smart card, excited to take advantage of its benefits and rewards. After downloading the app and completing the registration process, I was all set to start earning points on my fuel purchases. Feeling optimistic, I headed to the Shell station and fueled up my vehicle, spending a substantial amount of 1190 TL on fuel. At the payment counter, I eagerly handed over my Shell Smart card, expecting the points to be swiftly loaded onto my account. However, to my dismay, the points didn't show up in the app despite making the purchase. Confused and frustrated, I immediately contacted Shell's customer helpline seeking assistance and resolution. But much to my disappointment, the customer service representatives seemed indifferent to my concern. They simply stated that they couldn't take any action for a card that wasn't properly scanned during the transaction. This was disheartening, especially since I had followed all the necessary steps and made a substantial purchase. Adding to the frustration, I noticed that Shell's promotional screens kept boasting about enticing offers, such as up to 450 TL worth of free fuel. It was disheartening to see these offers while my own points were nowhere to be found. I tried to explain to the customer service team that it wasn't my fault, but they didn't seem willing to look into the matter or find a solution. It felt like my concerns were brushed aside, and my loyalty as a customer was not valued.
