Shell Did Not Add Points After I Updated My Smart Card Plate

I am a long-time Shell Smart Card user and regularly purchase fuel from Shell stations. A week ago, I changed my vehicle, which required me to update the license plate registered to my Shell Smart Card. I completed this update on Shell’s website on the evening of July 2, 2025. My Smart Card number is 7004 4103 5077 2361 0. However, later that night, I bought over ₺1500 worth of fuel at the Shell – Alperenden Petrol station in Esenyurt, but no points were credited to my card, and I was unable to join the ongoing "Boş Yok" campaign. When I asked about it, the station attendant said my new license plate didn’t appear in their system. Upon calling customer service, I was informed that license plate updates take 48 hours to reflect. Unfortunately, this important detail is not stated anywhere in Shell’s mobile app or website during the update process. Had I known about this delay, I would have waited to make the purchase and avoided missing out on the points and the campaign. This has caused not only a financial loss but also made me question my trust in Shell’s service. I respectfully request that my missing points be added to my Smart Card and that I be included in the "Boş Yok" campaign as I should have been. I look forward to a fair and timely resolution.
