I am a long-time consumer who has been using a Samsung DW60M5042FS dishwasher regularly for years. About two years after purchasing the machine, rusting and corrosion started to appear on the racks. Over time, the rust progressed and made the racks unusable. Within one year after the rust first appeared, the dishwasher racks became completely nonfunctional, and I am currently unable to use the machine at all.
When I contacted the authorized service center and customer service, I was told that the part was out of stock and that they were waiting for new inventory. However, for approximately one month now, no concrete action has been taken. During this time, I have been forced to wash dishes by hand, and my inconvenience grows with each passing day. Moreover, even though this issue started just before the warranty expired, no solution has been provided even after the warranty period ended.
We specifically chose the Samsung brand for our home because we believed it was durable and reliable. We also own appliances from other brands such as Arçelik, Beko, and Altus, and we have never experienced such an unresolved and indifferent service process with any of them. Samsung’s approach has completely shaken our trust in the brand and has unfortunately turned into a major disappointment for us.
I live in Gemlik, Bursa, and I am requesting that Samsung urgently supply the necessary dishwasher rack parts and replace the racks free of charge. It is unacceptable for a dishwasher purchased as a durable consumer product to rust and corrode in such a short time and for replacement parts to remain unavailable for months. I kindly ask that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible.
