I Face Chronic Rust Problem With My Samsung DW60H3010FW Dishwasher Basket
For about five months, I have been facing persistent mold and rust formation in the lower basket of my Samsung DW60H3010FW dishwasher, and despite regular cleaning, the problem continues. When I contacted the authorized service center in Ankara, I was charged ₺6,680 for the lower basket replacement. My review on Xolvie showed that in March, the prices were ₺2,900 for the lower basket and ₺2,200 for the upper basket. The current ₺6,680 cost for the lower basket alone is much higher than before, which further worsens my experience. Although my machine’s warranty has expired, other complaints clearly show that this is a chronic problem with Samsung dishwashers. I am worried the new lower basket will also rust continuously. Therefore, I demand a free replacement of the lower basket and a clear explanation for the price difference.
Customer Service called and demanded a fee of 6,680 TL from me for the lower basket replacement. When you look at complaints about Samsung dishwashers, mold and rust are chronic problems, I said. Customer Service did not contribute at all. Samsung white goods are a fiasco, there is no continuity. Yet, from my refrigerator to my TV to my microwave oven, unfortunately, it’s all Samsung. Instead of 6,680 TL, you can get a 3-program Arçelik or Beko for around 11,000-12,000 TL, at least there is a warranty. The parts are cheap. Buying Samsung is a regret.
