Uption Bank Unrestrict My Account I'm Stranded
I am a customer of Uption Bank with a savings account linked to IBAN **** 0014 3000 0000 0026 4099 64, in the name of Amaechi Benedict Oford***. The email address associated with my account is amaechiez***@yahoo.com. I normally use my Uption Bank app in Esenyurt, Istanbul, but I travelled to Nigeria on 25 January 2026 and continued to use my account without any problems until 4 February 2026, when my savings account was suddenly and temporarily blocked. Shortly before the block, I received a transfer of 6,750 TL from a Ziraat Bank account owned by Phionah Namugga. Since 4 February 2026, I have not been able to access my savings account, and I have not received any clear explanation from Uption Bank as to why my account was blocked. When I contacted your customer service by phone, I was only told that the account is “temporarily blocked” without any further details or justification. I have also sent several emails asking for clarification and for my account to be restored, but I have not received any response. At the moment, I am stuck in Nigeria without access to my own funds, which is creating a very difficult situation for me. I request the immediate unlocking of my savings account and a clear written explanation of the reason for the block. I expect this issue to be resolved urgently so that I can use my account and my money again without further delay.
