I purchased a Russell Hobbs waffle maker from N11, and while it worked fine for the first waffle, it completely failed on the second batch—the top didn’t cook at all. I sent the product to the designated service center, Yenile, on August 27, and they received it on August 28. A week later, I called to check on the status, only to be told the product hadn’t reached the warehouse yet, and I should call again in two days.
Ten days later, I was informed that they were waiting for a response from the company to either replace the defective part or send a new unit, as it was a manufacturing defect. When I called again on October 1, I was told they were waiting for a new unit to arrive in their stock and that I should receive my replacement within a week.
It’s been 33 days, and I still haven’t received my waffle maker. There has been no proactive communication from the company regarding my right to a refund or other compensation. The lack of customer service is frustrating, and I deeply regret purchasing this product, especially since I’ve seen others mention similar issues with the top plate not cooking properly. I'm now completely disappointed with Russell Hobbs and their service process.
