Pegasus Airlines Did Not Pay Compensation For Our Lost Luggage
My wife and our 9-month-old baby flew with Pegasus Airlines from Sabiha Gökçen to Cyprus Ercan airport on June 6, 2024, at 09.00. We tried getting luggage tags from the kiosks here. When the device did not generate a luggage tag, we went to counter F1 under the supervision of the staff. When it is our turn, notify the officer here. C. We gave my ID and placed our luggage on the belt. We received the boarding pass and luggage tag from the officer, handed over our luggage, and left. When we arrived at Ercan Airport, our suitcase was not among the baggage. We filed the necessary report and discovered that the luggage tag attached to our boarding pass by the officer at the F1 counter belonged to someone else, and that our luggage may have gone to another country. Although the 21-day legal period had expired and we had sent an e-mail about the issue and requested compensation, Pegasus' valued employees denied our request on the grounds that we were conducting transactions from kiosks and had not declared the label to them. Should I be okay with the fact that my 9-month-old baby, my wife, and I are stuck in the heat of Cyprus with nothing, that we are miserable, that our valuables have been lost, or that valuable Pegasus employees send us e-mails as if they are mocking us and do not pay our wages?
