On September 18, 2023, my wife and I arrived at Ercan Airport to board our flight from Cyprus Airport to Izmir, holding flight tickets with PNR code LK44NY. After completing the necessary check-in and baggage procedures and passing through police control, we realized that my wife's phone was left behind in the market. I informed the officer at the waiting point that we were not residents of Cyprus and that no one could answer the phone. I requested to discuss the situation with Pegasus. The officer understood the situation, although normally, it is forbidden not to re-enter after passing through the checkpoint. He accompanied me to Pegasus point, where I explained the situation to Mr. R** at around 15:40. I conveyed that our flight was at 17:00 and the phone was on its way to the airport, but the gentleman claimed he couldn't assist, mentioning luggage closure and ticket cancellation. When inquiring about purchasing new tickets, he mentioned a potential price difference of 200 TL-300 TL-500 TL for the next purchase. Despite our flight being delayed from 17:25 to 18:00, our tickets were canceled without notification. This cancellation caused significant financial and emotional stress, totaling our flight tickets at 5500 TL, as well as additional expenses on bus and taxi fares between Izmir and Çanakkale. I urgently seek a resolution and response to this matter, or I will escalate it to the relevant authorities. I present this situation for your immediate attention and action.
