I have canceled my booking with Opodo. How do I find out the status of my refund?

If you have already applied for a refund, you can check the current status of your refund application at any time via the app.

You will be notified immediately as soon as there is any news. No additional contact is required in the meantime. Please note that Opodo customer service agents can access the same information that is displayed in our app.

Currently, airlines take on average around 30 days to process refunds, although they are obliged under EU Regulation EC No 261/2004 to process refunds within 7 days.

As your agency, Opodo remains in close contact with the airlines to speed up the approval process for you. Opodo cannot progress the process any further until the money has been received from the airline. Normally, once the refund is received from the airline, Opodo will immediately transfer the refund via the payment method used for the original booking.
