Opodo Charged Me for a Flight After Website Error — How to Get a Refund
On September 15, 2025, I tried to purchase a Wizz Air flight ticket from Bucharest to Hamburg through Opodo. However, the website displayed an error message, so I assumed the booking had not been completed and purchased a ticket again from another platform. Later, I discovered that the ticket had actually been processed and issued by Opodo.
The reservation code for the Opodo booking is WRICPX, and the flight date was September 17, 2025.
When I contacted Opodo customer support, they told me that the booking could not be canceled, even though the issue was caused by their own system error, and that I would need to speak with the airline directly. Despite having paid €290, I have been left without a resolution and have not received any refund.
I request that Opodo resolve this issue immediately and refund the full ticket amount, as the duplicate booking was caused by a technical error on their website.
