On January 20, 2026, I used Opodo only to purchase a flight ticket. I did not purchase, approve, or sign up for any Opodo Prime membership or subscription. However, when I checked my credit card statement on February 4, 2026, I saw that $140 had been charged to my card under the name “Opodo Prime.”
Since I did not make any purchase, select any plan, or approve any membership related to this charge, this transaction was made entirely without my knowledge or explicit consent. No clear information, approval screen, agreement, or membership terms related to this charge were presented to me in an understandable way during the process.
As soon as I noticed the transaction, I contacted my bank, reported it as a suspicious charge, filed a dispute, and canceled my credit card for security reasons. Additionally, when I tried to contact Opodo directly, I attempted to reach them by phone but could not find a usable email address or an effective communication channel, so I was unable to formally notify the company in writing.
I request a full refund of the $140 Opodo Prime charge that was made without my knowledge or consent. I also request that any Opodo Prime membership or subscription associated with my name be immediately and permanently canceled.
