I Watched My New Balance 9060 Fade Completely in 6 Months
In May 2024, I purchased a pair of New Balance 9060 sneakers from the Akbatı New Balance store. These were not budget shoes—I paid a high price, expecting premium quality and durability. But in less than six months, the color of the shoes faded so badly that they now look worn out and unattractive. I didn’t expose them to anything extreme—just regular, everyday use.
I submitted the shoes for inspection through the store, hoping that New Balance would acknowledge the issue and offer a fair solution. However, they simply blamed me and claimed it was a “user error.” That response is unacceptable. If your products can't even maintain their color for half a year, then what exactly are we paying these high prices for?
Why offer a two-year inspection policy if you’re going to default to “user error” without taking accountability? My shoes are no longer wearable, and I feel like I’ve thrown my money away.
New Balance, if you truly care about your reputation and your customers, replace my shoes or refund me. Ignoring loyal customers who invest in your brand is not the way forward.
