Clicked a Fake HGS Link, Charged on Tickets.com
About 16 hours ago, I received a message claiming to be from “KGM” stating that I had an overdue HGS toll payment. I clicked the link in the message and was directed to tickets.com.tr. After entering my card information, a $647 charge was made to my Akbank Axess credit card. I received a 3D Secure code, but I was not shown any receipt, order number, or confirmation page.
Realizing the transaction was suspicious, I immediately contacted my bank, had my card canceled, and filed a dispute. The bank is currently reviewing the case. This is the first time I have experienced something like this.
I request that the unauthorized transaction made through tickets.com.tr be canceled and that my issue be resolved as quickly as possible. I also ask for a prompt update regarding the status of this investigation.
