I bought my Philips Azur 8000 iron in April 2025, expecting it to last for years, but to my shock it split completely in half in November—just seven months later. I take good care of my appliances, so seeing an iron break like this during normal use left me genuinely concerned about its build quality and safety. I now can’t use it at all, and this has disrupted my daily routine. I’m asking Philips to review this issue urgently and offer a proper solution, whether that’s a replacement or a repair, because a product at this level should not fail in such a dramatic way after such a short time.
