In December 2022, we purchased a Mini Cooper for my spouse. At just over 13,000 km, I received a warning indicating that both the front and rear brake pads were worn out. When I visited the Borusan İstinye Mini service center, I was told this was normal and that despite the car still being under warranty, the replacement would not be covered and would require payment.

As someone with extensive experience using various cars, including a 2016 Mini Cooper, I have never had to replace brake pads before 40,000 km. Given that brake pad issues are widely known to be a recurring problem in BMW Group vehicles, I find it unacceptable that this repair is not covered under warranty. I demand that the brake pads be replaced free of charge under the warranty. This issue needs to be resolved promptly to maintain customer trust in the brand.
