I opened a trading account on the Mexc crypto exchange in April 2025 (UID: 92757738) and had been actively buying and selling cryptocurrencies without issue—until now. Today, around 4:00 PM, I logged in and discovered that $1249 worth of assets had been transferred without my permission to an unknown Binance account.
The transfer was made in BNB, and I have never interacted with or whitelisted the destination address. According to Mexc’s own security protocols, such a transaction should require two-step verification, including both email and SMS OTPs. However, in this case, I only received an SMS, and the transaction was processed immediately—without my input or approval.
This is a clear breach of platform security, and I hold Mexc fully responsible for the unauthorized withdrawal. I never authorized this transfer, and there’s no legitimate explanation as to how it bypassed email confirmation.
I demand a full investigation and immediate reimbursement of the stolen $1249. If this is not resolved quickly, I will be forced to pursue legal action to protect my rights and recover my losses. Mexc must take accountability for this serious failure in user protection.
