My 2024 Mercedes GLC 180 Has Recurring Electrical Problems
I am absolutely furious with my 2024 Mercedes GLC 180! I bought this car brand new just six months ago, and it's already a nightmare. Right after its 15,000 km service, I got a headlight signal error. I took it to the service center, and they "fixed" it. But barely a week later, my sunroof wouldn't close! I've been limping along with a faulty sunroof, and now, to my utter disbelief, the headlight signal error is back again!
The first time, they claimed it was a software update. Now I have to go back to the service center for the second time for the same recurring issue, and honestly, I have zero faith they'll actually fix it. To make matters worse, it's a holiday, everything is closed, and I'm forced to travel. So, I guess I'll just drive during the day and hope I don't run into any more critical malfunctions at night.
Thanks for nothing, Mercedes. It seems all you offer is a shiny badge and endless headaches. Mercedes-Benz, you need to fix these persistent electrical problems in my GLC 180 immediately! This is unacceptable for a brand-new vehicle. Address the root cause of these recurring faults and ensure my car is actually reliable. I expect a permanent solution, not temporary patches.
Progress
The Mercedes GLC 180 vehicle I bought brand new has had its headlight signal lamp fail for the third time. When the sunroof is opened, it doesn't close. When I take it to the service, it gets fixed and delivered, but the same fault happens again within a month. And this time, the fault occurred at night. I'm exhausted. How can a brand new car have such a fault and why can't this problem be solved?
