Mac Cosmetics Birthday Gift Missing Despite Placing an Order

I was supposed to receive a birthday gift from Mac Cosmetics, but it turned into a frustrating experience. Initially, the gift was supposed to be a pencil, but I was told it was out of stock due to a campaign. When I contacted customer service, they instructed me to place an order and provide them with the order number, promising to include the gift if possible.

I followed their instructions and placed the order, which is now en route and expected to arrive tomorrow. However, when I inquired about the status of my gift, I received no response. Worse, the system shows my messages aren't going through.

This feels like manipulation—getting me to make a purchase without delivering on the promised gift. I expect an immediate resolution and my rightful gift to be sent promptly.
