I have been taking my vehicle to the ALJ Çekmeköy service center for eight years, and every time I bring it in for maintenance, the vehicle’s condition actually worsens. Despite having all scheduled maintenance performed regularly and thoroughly, I encounter a new problem every time I leave the service center. Most recently, even though my car had a maintenance service just two months ago, the battery of a normally functioning vehicle suddenly died today. The original factory battery of my 2016 model vehicle lasted six full years without any issues. However, the battery that was replaced by ALJ Çekmeköy service in 2022 did not even last three years.
When I reported this situation to the ALJ Çekmeköy service manager, Ms. D**, and other staff members**, their response was simply, “We don’t know.” This is not an isolated incident—every part that has been replaced seems to have half the expected lifespan, and each time the same dismissive explanation is given. When I formally raised a complaint, they stopped answering my phone calls altogether. For eight years, this service center has been attentive when it comes to charging fees, but once you complain, they no longer take your calls.
ALJ Çekmeköy does not even keep a spare battery in stock. They informed me that they could arrange paid roadside assistance and that a replacement battery ordered on demand would not arrive for at least five days. Although they said they would help if anything happened to the car during this period, Lexus Türkiye does not stand behind its customers and does not provide a replacement vehicle, even though loaner vehicle service was presented as a Lexus privilege at the time of sale. As one of the longest-standing Lexus customers in Türkiye, I feel that the brand no longer prioritizes customer satisfaction.
