Unreliable IKEA Delivery and Customer Disappointment
On October 19, 2023, I paid 849 TL including shipping for 5 'Justina Ekru Chair Cushions' from the IKEA app. Despite the prompt confirmation, the delivery by 'Hepsijet' was a disaster. The package was mysteriously held for days at the shipping facility with no communication. It was returned a week later due to damage caused by inadequate packaging. The evaluation and return procedures dragged on after initiating a replacement request with IKEA. No product or refund amount had been received as of November 20, 2023. IKEA did not contact me for a month and made no apologies for the inconvenience. Frustrated, I purchased the cushions myself on November 18, 2023, from IKEA's Bornova store and canceled the order. Despite my cancellation, the items were shipped, which left me very upset. I demand an explanation for this unethical behavior. I will not shop at IKEA again, and I will share my experience on social media to warn others.
As of November 28, 2023, the return process was completed. However, they didn't even make a single call to provide information about the situation they caused, let alone apologize.
