IKEA Hemnes Missing Product Delivery And No Solution
I recently bought an Hemnes model 3-drawer sofa from IKEA Bayrampaşa and the entire experience has been nothing short of mortifying. The salesperson asked me to take the goods from the shelf and deliver them to the transportation department, or pay a 150 TL fee for them to do it instead - obviously, I agreed, but little did I know what other problems were going to arise. On the specified day, they said that a transporter and assembly team would call 1 hour in advance - but they came without any prior information, thank goodness I had some craftsmen around because my home was being renovated! When they opened up the boxes, they realized one parcel had been sent wrong and left with nothing more than a record of this problem. The next day, they called back saying someone else had my box and offered to bring it over if I wanted it; understandably so, I said no as how could I know whether it'd come undamaged or not? They called again saying they'd be able to drop it off on Monday. It's not like this is any fault of mine in all this - plus, their mistakes disrupted my entire cleaning schedule made for after my renovation! This shouldn't have taken such long either; instead of taking time trying to figure out why this mistake happened in the first place, why didn't Ikea just send me another one immediately? And instead of offering a real solution, I get nothing! It's really shameful how Ikea has handled all of this and sadly enough there isn't much else that can be said about them.
