HP Failed to Provide a Charger for My Victus Model and Disrespected My Legal Rights
Since I don’t have a charger for the most popular HP Victus model sold in Turkey, the supposedly "big" HP brand and its so-called "huge" HP service have completely failed me. This service likes to throw around buzzwords about carbon footprints and CPU emissions to paint a picture of being a global giant. But here’s the irony: yes, they may be big, but they clearly don’t care about Turkey or Turkish citizens. When I spoke with a customer representative, they had the nerve to say, "Mr. T***, if you know your legal rights, go ahead and exercise them," and then rudely hung up on me. This level of arrogance and unprofessionalism, though frustrating, didn’t surprise me at all. It’s obvious that HP hires unqualified staff, likely just temporary workers waiting to get married or finish school, instead of competent professionals for customer service. To HP, you don’t matter. If they truly valued their customers, we – the very people who keep them in business – would be treated with respect.
What’s happening here is that the lack of respect and care towards me is a reflection of how little HP values you, their employee. Instead of resolving issues, you hang up on customers. And when I pressed further, you had the audacity to say in a condescending tone, "Mr. T***, if you act like this, we can’t offer you service," and tried to hang up on me again. How professional! Is it so difficult to come up with a solution? I understand you're just an underqualified temporary worker, counting down the hours to the end of your shift to make a few bucks. But is there no manager who could say, "Send this man a temporary charger so he doesn’t have to wait for an indefinite amount of time for the product to arrive from abroad?" Is there no supervisor with the slightest respect for HP’s corporate standards or ethics who could say, "Call the courier right away, this customer has been waiting for 4 months, caught between Teknosa and us"?
Is everyone at HP just there for a paycheck, browsing job boards in their spare time? Don’t worry, I will write this same complaint in English and send it to every HP corporate email I can find. Is there not one Turkish employee working there who cares? If HP’s policy is to treat Turkish customers with such disregard, is there no one who will stand up and object? Shame on you! And don’t you dare respond with a copy-paste message like:
