Subaru Dealership Stalls Car Repairs and Ignores Insurance Claim Approval
On May 22, after another vehicle rear-ended my 2017 Subaru XV, I took it to the İstanbul Anadolu Özteknik Subaru service center for repair. On the day of the accident, I submitted all accident reports, photos, and required documents to them in full.
Despite this, staff uploaded my documents to the system nearly a month later. During this time, despite my calling and texting repeatedly, I received no response most of the time and only managed to reach someone two or three times. Even though Sompo Insurance sent an approval confirmation, the service center still has not uploaded the repair documentation requested by the insurer, stalling the entire process.
I currently have the car—having retrieved it after signing a release—but I am forced to drive it with a broken headlight and cracked bumper. This situation poses a safety hazard, and the endless delay causes significant hardship. I also called Subaru Turkey, and although they promised to follow up, I received no callback.
I demand that the İstanbul Anadolu Özteknik Subaru service center urgently upload all required documents for my Sompo Insurance claim to the system to initiate repairs, and provide me with a clear update via phone or in writing.
