HDI Insurance Policy Payment Error Duplicate Charge - Still Not Refunded

On November 25, 2025, I attempted to purchase a motor own damage insurance policy from HDI Insurance for a friend’s vehicle, using a credit card issued in the name of Milad U***. During the online payment stage, the system produced an error and the policy was not created, yet the premium amount of ₺8,052.67 was still charged to my credit card. Following this error, I contacted the customer service on the same day and completed the policy issuance over the phone with an agent. After making a second payment with the same credit card, my motor own damage insurance was activated and policy number 2000252581725 was created. During this call, the agent clearly stated that the first charge caused by the system error was an erroneous transaction and that this amount would be refunded to my credit card. Despite this clear statement, 9 days have passed since the transaction and the erroneous charge has still not been refunded. Although the policyholder is my friend, as the person who made the payment and the credit card holder, I am the one who is financially aggrieved due to this duplicate charge. I request that the erroneous charge of ₺8,052.67, which was taken from my credit card during the failed online transaction on November 25, 2025, be immediately and fully refunded to the same card without any further delay.
