Garanti BBVA Charged Unauthorized Payment And Didn’t Close Account

Although I canceled my account and online banking service with Garanti Bank through mobile banking, on November 10, 2025, at 19:20, I was informed that my account had not been fully deleted and that I needed to visit a branch to complete the process. I know that similar situations have also happened to other Garanti Bank customers I know. In addition, on October 24, 2025, an amount of ₺1,463.98 — the cost of another person’s insurance policy — was charged to my credit card without my knowledge or consent. I called the customer service center to file a complaint about this unauthorized transaction, but no case number was provided, and my issue was neither resolved nor refunded. I expect Garanti Bank to immediately refund the unauthorized ₺1,463.98, completely close my account, credit card, and online banking services, and permanently delete all my records from the bank. I request that this matter be resolved urgently.
