eDreams Prime Scam Allegation After €79.99 Card Charge

I am writing to raise a serious complaint regarding an unauthorized charge of 79.99 EUR that appeared on my Visa card issued by NLB Banka Skopje, with the description “EDREAMS PRIME ANNUAL”. The notification for this transaction was sent to me by my bank on 29 November 2025, which I understand to be the same date shown as the transaction date. I have never knowingly subscribed to eDreams Prime, and I did not authorize any Prime Annual membership. The only service I have ever knowingly used from eDreams was the purchase of plane tickets. I booked flights with multiple destinations from Skopje to Glasgow and back for the period 7 November 2021 – 14 November 2021, with eDreams booking reference 8212529101 and airline booking references NGK4FY, K2N2JP4, NGGAJZ, and TYGJUI. My clear understanding at the time was that I was paying only for those tickets and not for any ongoing Prime subscription or recurring membership fees. My bank has informed me that this Prime-related charge appears to have been taken over several years, which is extremely worrying, as I was never aware of any such subscription and never gave explicit consent for repeated Prime payments. I consider these charges to be unauthorized and unfair. My booking and account were originally under the name Liljana Popovska, using the email address liljan**@t.mk, which I no longer use or have access to. My current email address is now liljana.popovs***@gmail.com. After seeing the 79.99 EUR charge, I contacted NLB Banka Skopje and asked them to write to eDreams on my behalf to request a refund and cancellation of any Prime subscription. They have already reacted to my request and have now advised me that I should also contact you personally, which I am doing through this complaint. In light of the above, I request a full refund of the 79.99 EUR charged as “EDREAMS PRIME ANNUAL”, as well as a refund of any other eDreams Prime–related amounts that may have been taken from my account in previous years without my explicit and informed consent. I also ask that any eDreams Prime subscription linked to my name, my card or my former email address (liljan**@t.mk) be cancelled immediately. Finally, I request written confirmation that all Prime subscriptions in my name have been cancelled, together with a clear statement of the total amount refunded and the dates of any refunded transactions. I expect this matter to be investigated and resolved as soon as possible.
