Misleading eDreams Prime Subscription Renewal

I recently discovered that eDreams has been charging me for a subscription without my consent. Three days ago, I noticed unauthorized charges totalling 189.98 euros taken from my debit euro account. I did not knowingly subscribe to any such service, and these payments came as a complete surprise to me. On 6 December 2025, a renewal fee was debited from my account without my consent. I did not authorize this payment and had no intention of continuing any subscription with eDreams. I also recently discovered that another charge of 89.99 EUR was taken from my EUR account on 9 December 2024, which I was completely unaware of because I do not actively use or monitor that account. I never approved these payments, and I have never intentionally subscribed to eDreams Prime. To be completely transparent, I was not aware at all that such a subscription existed on my account. This means the subscription was either entirely unauthorized or it was added during the flight-booking process through a small hidden checkbox, which many users report as a recurring issue. After reading multiple complaints online describing the same situation, it appears the website may mislead customers into subscribing to Prime without clear, informed consent. In my case, the flight I purchased cost only 64.99 EUR, yet I am being charged 99.99 EUR per year for a subscription I never wanted, which is extremely unacceptable and does not meet reasonable consumer expectations. I attempted to resolve the issue through eDreams’ customer support, but I was only able to reach an AI assistant, which did not provide any real help or a way to properly contact a representative. I have supporting information, such as my subscription or booking references and screenshots of the charges, and I am ready to share these if needed for verification. I kindly request a full refund of the unauthorized charges from December 2024 and December 2025, the immediate cancellation of any eDreams Prime subscription linked to my account, and written confirmation that no further charges will be taken from my accounts in the future.
