eDreams Charged Me €269.97 for Unauthorized Prime Membership Without My Consent
I am writing to formally file a complaint against eDreams, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. In one month alone, eDreams charged my bank account three times, each for €89.99, without my authorization, totaling €269.97. These charges were for a one-year "Prime Membership," a service I never consented to. My only intention in visiting eDreams’ website was to purchase three flight tickets for myself, my sister, and my brother-in-law. During the booking process, I was unknowingly subscribed to this Prime Membership, which was applied to three separate accounts. I was shocked to find these unauthorized charges on my bank statement. Since this incident, I have discovered numerous similar complaints online, all reporting the same issue with eDreams. Since discovering these charges, I have sent over 10 emails to eDreams, explaining that I neither wanted nor agreed to this membership and requesting a full refund. Unfortunately, I have only received automated responses, with no actual resolution or refund. As a student, this amount is significant to me, and I am seeking assistance to recover my funds, as eDreams has failed to address this issue. Supporting documentation includes a bank statement which is proof of the unauthorized charges by eDreams, showing three withdrawals of €89.99 each. It also includes copies of my emails to eDreams requesting a refund, along with their automated responses, demonstrating my efforts to resolve this directly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
