Read their Refund Policy (https://support.duolingo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4403492548365-Refund-policy) first.

Duolingo says that if you don't cancel your free trial before it ends, the trial will instantly turn into a paid subscription. Most of the time, subscription fees are not refundable unless needed by law.

Get information about your subscription, such as the start and end times of your trial, as well as proof of any attempts to cancel, in order to get your money back.

You can get in touch with Duolingo through their Help Center (https://support.duolingo.com/hc/en-us) or email [email protected] with information about your account and a clear description of the problem.

Bring up any problems with not being told about the charge ahead of time and ask for a return review.

If your request is turned down, you can challenge the charge with your bank or credit card company. Many of them will protect you from unexpected charges.

If none of the above solutions work, please feel free to share your experience. You can also file a complaint on our website.
