Duolingo Charged €233.99 Without Sending Reminder After Free Trial Ended
Duolingo had a two-week free trial and said they'd send a reminder two days before the subscription was renewed. I didn't get any notification, and then I was hit with the annual subscription fee of €233.99. This is a big amount, and I would have liked a heads-up before such a large charge was made. I quickly canceled my subscription when I found out about this, but I was informed that I couldn't get a refund. Considering the situation, I think a refund makes sense since I counted on Duolingo's promise that I would get a reminder. I'm reaching out to Duolingo to sort this out and get a refund for the charge.
