On July 13, 2024, I placed an order (number 164669026) for two vacuum cleaners through Carrefour SA's website. I had to choose July 16, 2024, as the delivery date since it was the earliest available option. However, on July 15, 2024, at 5:30 PM, I received a call informing me in a dismissive tone that the product was out of stock and wouldn't be shipped.
Oddly, the product was still listed for sale on Carrefour SA's website on July 15, 2024. I couldn't understand how an item ordered on July 13 couldn't be delivered, so I called customer service. Their response was even more absurd - they claimed they can only check stock 24 hours later and that orders are prepared on the delivery day, not the order day. How could they run out of stock for a July 16 delivery after a promotion on July 13-14?
I'm not accepting a refund; I'm demanding that they fulfill the order as placed.
