I Found Urine and Blood on the Bed in My Kraków Room Booked via Booking.com

I booked a room in Kraków, Poland through Booking.com, expecting a clean and safe place to stay. What I walked into was absolutely appalling. As soon as I entered the room, I found urine and blood stains on the bed, the bathroom and toilet were filthy, the shower was broken, and the exposed electrical outlets posed a serious safety hazard.
I took clear photo evidence of everything and immediately reported the situation to Booking.com. Despite the obvious health and safety violations, I was offered a pathetic 15% refund. To make it worse, the response I received was nothing short of insulting: “You should’ve read the reviews.” That is not how a company should handle a legitimate hygiene complaint.
These conditions were unacceptable and dangerous to human health. I’ve now filed a formal complaint through ECC Poland (European Consumer Centre) and will continue pursuing my rights through official channels. I will not remain silent about Booking.com’s negligence and refusal to take real responsibility.
Booking.com must fully refund the ₺ I paid and immediately remove listings that fail to meet basic cleanliness and safety standards. No traveler should be exposed to such horrifying conditions.
