Booking.com Refused Refund for Early Checkout Due to Medical Issue
On March 8, 2025, I booked two nights in Medina and five nights in Mecca through Booking.com for my Umrah visit. Unfortunately, due to a swelling in my leg caused by my prosthetic, I was forced to return home three days early.
Despite this medical situation, Booking.com refused to refund the last three nights of my stay. I also noticed that Helal Booking canceled all my past reservations without providing any reason. It seems that Booking.com has serious issues when it comes to cancellations and refunds.
I expect a fair resolution and a refund for the unused nights, as my early departure was due to a genuine medical necessity. Booking.com needs to improve its refund policy and customer service for unexpected circumstances like this.
