Booking.com Refund Missing After Canceled Hotel Reservation

On December 3, 2025, I made a reservation through Booking.com for Airgate Airport Hotel with a total payment of $23 USD. I canceled the reservation two days later, and I was informed that a refund would be issued and that the money would be credited back to my account. I was also told that the refund would be completed within 7 to 12 days.

However, even though the stated time period has passed, the money has still not been credited to my account. Despite sending multiple messages through Booking.com, the only response I see in the system is “paid, your refund has been processed,” yet no payment appears in my bank account.

I am requesting that the refund actually be credited to my account and that the refund process be clearly explained. If necessary, I also ask that proof such as a bank receipt, transaction reference number, or confirmation document be provided to me.
