On December 20, 2025, I purchased a Xiaomi Smart Humidifier 2 EU for approximately 65.8 euros. After approximately two weeks of trouble-free operation, the device suddenly began to emit an abnormal and disturbing motor-like noise, which became louder as the operating power was increased. On January 3, 2026, I applied to Vatan Bilgisayar, and the product was sent to the authorized service center, Evofone Technical Service. After their evaluation, the device was returned to me with the note that no technical fault had been detected. During this process, no assessment was carried out from a user-experience perspective, and I was not contacted to better understand the issue. I have been actively using many products in the Xiaomi ecosystem in my home for years, such as a robot vacuum cleaner, camera, smart bulbs, thermometer, Wi‑Fi repeater, and PETKIT pet products, and therefore, my trust in the brand has been high. However, the attitude and approach of the technical service in this process have negatively affected my confidence. The main reason I chose this model was its low-noise operation feature. Under the current circumstances, the fact that this feature has effectively disappeared means the device no longer fulfils its intended purpose and, in my opinion, should be considered a defective product. In light of these issues, I kindly request that my Xiaomi Smart Humidifier 2 EU be either replaced with a properly functioning, quiet unit or that a full refund of approximately 65.8 euros be provided.
