I Canceled My Booking.com Reservation But Still Haven’t Received My Refund

On February 17, 2025, I canceled a hotel reservation on Booking.com in full accordance with the cancellation policy. Shortly after, I received an email from Booking confirming that the refund had been processed and would be credited to my account within 7–12 business days. However, as of April 11, 2025, the refund has still not been received.
Since my bank (Ziraat Bank) could not locate any incoming transaction, Booking provided me with an ARN code and instructed me to submit it to the bank. Despite multiple attempts and extensive back-and-forth with both parties, the issue remains unresolved. I’m now being forced to pay for a charge that was canceled and never physically used. This situation is unacceptable. I’ve done everything asked of me, yet I’m still without a refund and increasingly frustrated. Booking.com, I demand that this refund be completed immediately.
