Booking.com Misleading Hotel Listings: No Ocean View, No Amenities, No Refund
For my hotel reservations at Masfalhi View Inn (Maldives) and The Only One Apartments (Serbia), the amenities listed on Booking.com—such as an ocean view and access to electrical charging—were not available at the properties. I made advance payments for both reservations, trusting the information provided on Booking.com, but the promised services were not delivered.
After these stays in January and May, I submitted multiple complaints through customer support, sent in-app messages, and tried calling. However, I never received any response. At this point, the phone number Booking.com provides for Turkey is invalid, and it’s impossible to reach customer service.
In the past, I received refunds from other hotels in similar situations. But for these two reservations, I am still experiencing a loss, and I am unable to reach anyone who can help. I request that Booking.com issue a refund due to the hotels’ failure to provide the services listed on their site.
