On August 11, 2025, I canceled my reservation at El Verano Hotel, Kos through Booking.com. The booking clearly stated that the cancellation was fully refundable and that my payment would be returned within 7–12 days. However, it has now been 14 days, and my refund of ₺17,108.41 has still not been credited to my account.
What makes the situation worse is that I have not received any communication, updates, or even an automated message regarding the status of my refund. I also could not find any direct customer support contact information for Booking.com, which has left me without any way to get proper assistance. My payment was made via bank card, and the entire booking process was completed through the Booking.com platform.
It is extremely disappointing that such a large company fails to honor its own refund timelines or provide accessible support for customers. I canceled within the allowed period, followed all the rules, and yet I am left waiting with no transparency or resolution.
I demand that Booking.com immediately process and return the ₺17,108.41 refund to my account and provide a clear explanation of why the promised refund period was not respected. Customers deserve both reliability and accountability, especially when dealing with such significant amounts of money.
