I Paid on Booking.com But Didn’t Get a Reservation and Still Can’t Get My Money Back

On July 17, 2025, I tried to book a vacation in Greece through Booking.com. The system charged my card immediately, and the amount appears as a pending transaction on my account. However, no reservation was ever created. I received no confirmation, no booking number — nothing.

I checked my Booking.com account multiple times, and there’s absolutely no trace of my reservation. Still, they took the money. I’ve been trying to get support ever since, but there’s no proper channel to speak to a real person. Their customer service has been completely unhelpful and unresponsive. I’m stuck in limbo, out the money, and with no vacation to show for it.

It’s unacceptable for Booking.com to take my money without giving me what I paid for. I demand an immediate refund of the ₺ amount charged to my card and an explanation of how such a failure can happen. If your system fails to complete the reservation, then don’t charge the customer in the first place. Fix this urgently — I shouldn't have to chase down my own money!
