Booking.com Didn’t Inform Me My Hotel Was Closed and Now I Have to Pay 3 Times More
I booked for a holiday on booking.com, but I have to cancel as the hotel I selected closed about a month ago without telling me! They ought to have known of and reported to me. Support promised to locate me a new apartment at the same cost when I contacted them, but later changed their mind and said I would have to book one on my own. The problem is that three times more expensive are now all the solutions that are at our disposal. Booking.com let me down totally by not offering the promised service. This trip was booked well in advance, hence right now I'm stuck looking for substitutes with no actual support from them.
