Booking.com Customer Service Misrepresenting Hotel Photos
I made a reservation through Booking.com for Thassos Manolis Studio, specifically for a sea-view room for three people. However, upon arrival, we were given a room below the street level, dark with floor-to-ceiling windows, and filled with street noise. The property owner intentionally uploads blurry photos of the rooms on Booking, and these rooms are sold without any refund! Clearly, there is a deliberate effort to deceive customers in collaboration with Booking. Despite the room description promising a sea view, the received room had no sea view, and the property claimed that only the property's terrace and other rooms offered a sea view. They offered to provide one of these other rooms for an additional fee. Additionally, they were very rude.
Under these circumstances, we could not stay and had to cut short our vacation to return. Our summer holiday was ruined by Booking. It was evidently deception, and no refund is being issued. We have already contacted Booking multiple times. Despite being informed of the issue, the property now claims that the sold room did not meet the customer's expectations and refuses to issue a refund! Is Booking selling rooms with misleading photos and false information? Then Booking should compensate for my loss. No refund has been granted since August 26th.
